I agree that 1. looks like the Catherdral of Canterbury and 3. looks like an airport, but I have not figured out where, Also the "All roads lead to Rome" fits, but for the life of me, I can't tell you why.

so...here is one explaination. ;-)
1. A picture of a Catherdral, there are tons of catherdrals in Rome.
2. A picture of a Bell, I'm pretty sure there are plenty of bells in Rome too.
3. Rome has an airport.
4. Planes fly into Rome's airport.
5. If you look hard enough, you can see Rome from the top of the Space Needle.

or maybe...

1. Tom Hanks has filmed movies in a church.
2. Tom Hanks has been to Philadelphia.
3. Tom Hanks spent a whole movie in an airport.
4. Tom Hanks spent a lot of time on the "Vomit Comet" for his movie Apollo 13, another plane that flys really high in the air.
5. Tom Hanks was in Sleepless in Seattle

The link to Rome? Romans don't like Tom Hanks because of the Di Vinci Code.

Or possibly...

The link is...me.
1. I have read the Canterbury Tales.
2. I know where Philadelphia is.
3. I live 20 miles from an airport.
4. I once watched a movie called Airport '79: The Concorde.
5. I watched Superbowl XL were the Pittsburgh Steelers beat the Seattle Seahawks.

And I have been on a road that led to Rome.

LOL, Will you made me laugh.

The scary thing is that Dave says I am close and I was making all of that up.

Wait a minute...All roads lead to Tom Hanks?

1. Tom Hanks was in The Da Vinci Code, which was partially filmed in Lincoln Catherdal in Lincoln, England. It stood in for Westminster Abbey.
2. Tom Hanks won an Oscar for portraying Andrew Beckett in Philadelphia. Philadelphia is the home of the Liberty Bell.
3. Tom Hanks was in the movie The Terminal about a man living in JFK Airport in Queens, New York. Some of Catch Me If You Can, also starring Tom Hanks, was also filmed in the TWA Terminal
4. Tom Hanks was in the movie The Bonfire of the Vanities in which Melanie Griffith arrives in New York on an Air France Concorde
5. Tom Hanks was in Sleepless In Seattle, Home of the Space Needle

Dang, I just picked Tom Hanks out of the air because he was in Sleepless In Seattle. I was trying to make a joke and stumbled on the answer, I think. You gave me too much time Dave. ;-)

Nice call on the Little Mermaid in Copanhagen, I was looking past the rocks at the stuff in the back. The two flags you mentioned, 4 and 8 show up on my screen as the wrong color. If you click on the picture, the true color shows up. That had me for a while too. The black in flag 4 is red and the black in flag 8 is blue.
